OVS Bushveld Extreme Weather Protection
If you have been overlanding for a while, you know that the weather can be unpredictable, and you must be prepared for whatever Mother Nature has in store.
Because of this, the Overland Vehicle Systems Bushveld was built to protect you in all weather conditions like a pro.
The body of the Bushveld features a 600D grade double rip-stop polyester-cotton waterproof canvas with a UV rating of PU 2500 and a 420D polyester oxford waterproof rain fly.
The canvas used is extremely durable and will make sure you stay safe and comfortable at all times. Plus, when there is a lot of rain, the built-in rainfly will keep the water from entering inside.
OVS Bushveld - Comfortable to Sleep In
Getting a decent night's sleep is crucial when you're on the journey. If you don't, you'll be drained and unable to enjoy yourself on your adventures.
To avoid that, both the 2- and 4-person Bushvelds come with a high-density foam mattress with a black quilted cover.
There is also a built-in skylight window on the roof of the Bushveld, which will help to illuminate your nights. It improves airflow while also allowing you to gaze up at the stars from the comfort of your bed.
Lightning Quick Setup
If you have used a roof top tent before, you probably know they are way easier and faster to set up and takedown than ground tents. Typically, you can set up a roof top tent in under 5 minutes.
However, as we mentioned initially, Bushveld is a premium roof top tent with features that ooze comfort and luxury. Hence, it has a unique gas strut design that lets you open and close it in less than 30 seconds. The process is almost entirely automated.
Also, because of Bushveld's universal mounting construction, you can install it on most trucks and cars out there. On average, It takes about 1 hour to install a Bushveld on your roof rack.

The insulated base of the Bushveld will keep you warm and comfortable on those chilly winter nights.

What is the lifespan of a roof top tent?
The typical soft shell roof top tent lasts 5-10 years. The typical hard shell roof top tent, like the Bushveld, will get you even longer under normal use. The Bushveld comes with a 4-year warranty, but we've found most customers never need it.
