We asked some of the Nomadic roof top tent owners above to share tips and things you need to consider when buying the OVS Nomadic roof top tents. Here's what these knowledgeable experts had to say:
1. Extra mattress (@jeepdad00)
The biggest update I have done for my tent is an extra mattress pad as well as a small battery powered fan for condensation since our pup sleeps with us too...I have weathered pretty good thunderstorms in April and nothing got wet inside all.other ground tents were flooded I was even able to keep ladder window screen open during storm these are well worth $$ and looks great on my Gladiator. 2. Dare to explore (@dv_ochotorena28)
You know all of us have a busy life like working, family and other things but whenever you get the chance to go out and explore, never hesitate, life is too short, go out and have fun! And of course respect the nature wherever you go! See this tent and other Nomadic roof top tent options.
3. Extra mattress x2 (@gatorgladator2020)
Test it before your big trip we slept in ours in the backyard and decided to add a little bit more to the mattress I think it was a 3” memory foam piece we added which made a huge difference we traveled from Massachusetts to Wyoming and camped the whole way out and back then drove to Kentucky a week after getting back slept great the whole time. 4. Get Organized (@redacted.images)
One tip for making the most of your tent, is staying organized and staying clean. Keeping everything you need in a place you know where it’s going to be is always helpful. And make sure you clean and air your tent out after every trip. The cleaner you keep it the longer it will last! See this tent and other Nomadic roof top tent options.
