If you want a quality tent for less money, then the Overland Vehicle Systems TMBK might be ideal for you. Like other Overland Vehicle Systems roof top tents, the TMBK is also made with high-quality materials and designed to handle rough weather conditions like a pro.
Roof top tents have a notorious reputation for weighing a lot - usually starting around 130-150lbs and going up from there. But that's not the case at all with the TMBK. It weighs only 110 lbs and is one of the lightest roof top tents currently on the market. Plus, it is large enough to sleep 2 adults or a family of 3 people. While OVS awnings don't come standard with walls, you can add walls to most of them, including all versions of the 270 and 180. Simply add walls at checkout for the complete package.
Is there an option to add an annex to Nomadic roof top tents?
Yes, you do have the option to add an annex to the Overland Vehicle Systems Nomadic tents. You can also add one to the Bushveld and TMBK tents.
Do Overland Vehicle Systems roof top tents have any effect on vehicle MPG (miles per gallon)?
You might see a slight drop in your MPG if you use a Nomadic or TMBK (1-3 miles per gallon), but you'll barely see any drop at all when using the Bushveld roof top tent given it's aerodynamic hard shell design.
