Constructed with 600D poly cotton ripstop material, the Overland Vehicle Systems Nomadic 270 LT requires no poles to set up. It has a pair of reinforced, oversized hinges and heavy-duty rafters.

When it is time to lock down base camp for serious weather, there are 4 aluminum poles you can deploy as reinforcements, along with stakes and the supplied para-cord.

Plus, you can put up your optional walls if you have them, for a full blown storm shelter.

Then, when it's time to stow your Nomadic 270 LT away, it takes just a minute to break down. And you can store it in your 1000g PVC cover.

What's the difference between the OVS Nomadic 270 and the OVS Nomadic 270 LT awnings? 
Square footage, plain and simple. The full size OVS Nomadic 270 is 129 square feet. This OVS Nomadic 270 LT awning is 80 square feet. Otherwise, the materials and construction are exactly the same. Because of the reduced size, this one is also a bit lighter and a bit less expensive. In fact, because of the low price, the Nomadic 270 LT is rated our best affordable 270 awning. 

Does it fit on any roof racks?
Yes! All OVS Nomadic 270 LT Awnings are designed to fit 99% of aftermarket and factory roof racks that have crossbars.

How much does the OVS 270 awning weigh?
The weight of the OVS Nomadic 270 LT awning is 53 lbs.

What are the dimensions of the OVS 270 awning?

Is a 180 awning better than a 270 awning?
Depends what you're looking for. A 180 degree awning is a half circle. It does not curve around the back of the car. Typically, that means it provides less coverage than a 270 degree awning and is lighter weight and less expensive. But with this Nomadic 270 LT version, it's about a tossup on all of those factors between the LT and a 180 degree awning. So it comes down to which design you prefer.
